Week 13

To give more body to my major work I have started to think about branding my designs as promotional material for a ‘Fashion Week for Climate Change’ (FWFCC) event.
The following images present some interesting takes on branding, which I would like to incorporate in my own designs:

London Fashion Week:
Utilises modern language by creating hashtags for the event e.g. #LFW, #POSITIVEFASHION #LONDONISOPEN etc. This encourages an active participation online as well as in real life.

These designs have led me to think about what colours and themes would inform an event like mine. I have decided the event will take place in Sydney.

I hope to include the following collateral:

  • booklet cover: possibly a few page layouts
  • invitation cards
  • crew cards
  • wall signage
  • bag design: on environmentally friendly material
  • hashtags ft. on posters shown in-situ

Characteristics of fashion related typography:

  • structured
  • sans-serif
  • bold
  • elegant
  • monochromatic

Characteristics of environmentally friendly typography:

  • green
  • natural colours
  • thin

Climate change typography:
